Senior Software Developer (Braze)

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Own Braze as the technical and product subject-matter expert, defining platform strategy, configuration, and best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations between Braze, player accounts, sportsbook, casino, CRM, data platforms, and third-party services.
• Design player data models, events, attributes, segments, subscriptions, and environments for personalized engagement.
• Lead Braze implementations and migrations, including data validation, cutovers, and production support.
• Build pipelines that keep player profiles, wagering activity, events, and segments accurate and up to date.
• Partner with CRM, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable engagement solutions and improve platform performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building and integrating production systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Airship, or Adobe Campaign.
• Backend development and integration experience with APIs, webhooks, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Experience with data warehouses, streaming platforms, CDPs, and mobile or web SDK integrations.
• Ability to lead platform implementations, migrations, and integrations from design through production support.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, PII, consent, and compliance in high-volume consumer environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming, sports betting, casino, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AI-driven personalization and engagement.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or CDP platforms.
