Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada and have the ability to work without sponsorship)

Salary: 137,000–186,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Architect complex engineering systems from end to end for the Connect Platform.
• Develop secure, scalable data integration using cloud-native technologies and distributed systems.
• Partner with stakeholders to execute the roadmap for a top-notch Data Streaming Platform.
• Optimize the technology stack for stability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Deep expertise in hyper-scale distributed systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience running production services in the cloud and participating in on-call rotations.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Not eligible for candidates from US sanctioned countries (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and specific regions of Ukraine).

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with DevOps engineering and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
