Focus on evaluating financial risk, supporting complex commercial negotiations, driving cost transformation, and influencing senior stakeholders across a matrixed organisation.
Location: Must be based in the UK and aligned to a UK Finance Hub: Birmingham, Bristol, or London.

What you will do
- Lead financial control, governance, and performance management for a major manufacturing organisation account.
- Own P&L and balance sheet performance while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Deliver forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, and actionable performance insight.
- Analyse customer profitability, ROI, pricing, offers, and discounts, and support business cases for profitable growth.
- Manage financial risk, revenue and cost recognition, debt management, cash flow, and billing issue resolution.
- Protect and improve BT’s commercial and contractual financial position through negotiations and stakeholder decision-making.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification.
- Significant experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Proven experience working with commercial teams to deliver strong financial outcomes.
- Advanced knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and performance management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Nice to have
- Experience evaluating, structuring, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Experience leading financial transformation or cost optimisation initiatives.
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry and related products and services.
- Success influencing senior stakeholders and balancing strategic priorities with customer requirements.
