Building Services Consultant-Mechanical Projects (HVAC)

What you will do

• Engage with customers to understand needs, define project scopes, and propose tailored mechanical solutions.
• Coordinate third-party service providers, communicate job expectations, and verify completed work.
• Collaborate with Project Associates to ensure bids include complete scopes and accurate pricing.
• Develop customer proposals and provide technical support for sales and customer service teams.
• Troubleshoot fulfillment issues, manage escalations, enforce contracts, and improve service provider performance.
• Lead complex projects, negotiations, risk mitigation, process improvements, training, and colleague mentoring.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship.
• 15+ years of applicable trade industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, kitchen equipment, plumbing, and electrical system maintenance and installation.
• Experience managing projects across multiple categories, including complex and high-stakes projects.
• Ability to accommodate changing work hours, occasional travel, customer service priorities, and clerical duties.
• Ability to use systems and technology to multitask, manage time, and improve efficiency.

Nice to have

• Fire alarm system knowledge and generator installation experience.
• Customer service, dispatch, quoting, or project management experience in exterior building maintenance service categories.
• Bachelor’s degree and senior living industry experience.
• Experience managing large and complex projects.
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-centered environment.
