Location: Onsite at portfolio properties in Dallas, Texas, with daily local travel between assigned buildings. Employment requires valid authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control, and building management systems across assigned properties.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly inspections, and site inspections of roofs and mechanical and electrical rooms.
- Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical systems.
- Communicate with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors while maintaining professional service standards.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and facility improvements, and assist with construction projects and natural disaster recovery.
- Maintain issued tools, equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and work order records.
Requirements
- At least two years of field experience or equivalent technical training.
- Training or certification in HVAC, operating engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with routine supervision.
- Basic computer skills for building automation systems, mobile work order tools, building systems, and email.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NFC, EPA, and ASHRAE requirements and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and write English, lift at least 50 pounds, work at heights, verify colors, and routinely climb 28-foot ladders.
Nice to have
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
- CFC training and certification, or the ability to obtain certification for serviced refrigerants.
- Continuing education in the field.
