Senior Information Security Engineer (AI/Cloud)

What you will do

• Design and implement advanced security solutions, including AI-powered threat detection, for systems, networks, and applications.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response, compliance audits, and other strategic security programs.
• Analyze threat intelligence, assess risks, and implement proactive countermeasures against emerging threats.
• Embed security into APIs, microservices, cloud environments, and CI/CD workflows in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.
• Build monitoring systems, metrics, and reporting tools to measure security control effectiveness.
• Direct forensic investigations, mentor junior security engineers, and promote security awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least four years of information security experience designing and managing complex security systems.
• Experience with cloud security, encryption protocols, scalable security architectures, and AWS.
• Strong ability to analyze and respond to security incidents using forensic tools, automation, and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability management tools, and Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to lead high-impact security initiatives and work with standards and frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Contributions to open-source security tools or participation in Capture The Flag competitions.
• Experience with AI-driven security tools or agentic AI applications.
• Knowledge of PKI, secure API design, and microservices security architecture.
• Participation in security communities, professional events, or technical conferences.
