DevSecOps Engineer / Security Solutions Lead (AI Security)

Location: Remote in Latin America; listed locations include Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, and Chile.

What you will do

• Secure and harden cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, internal systems, production environments, CI/CD pipelines, and operational workflows.
• Identify, prioritize, remediate, and validate vulnerabilities through scanning, penetration testing, adversarial testing, threat modeling, and manual security reviews.
• Protect AI-driven systems and automated agents from prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unsafe outputs, unauthorized actions, and data leakage.
• Design AI guardrails, validation layers, observability, auditability, anomaly monitoring, and safe-failure controls.
• Improve security monitoring, alerting, logging, incident response, root cause analysis, and preventative remediation.
• Support SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliance, audits, risk assessments, customer due diligence, security questionnaires, and partner security reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, infrastructure or application security, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, or offensive security.
• Exceptional knowledge of AWS and experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in production systems.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, and security practices for FinTech environments.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex security systems to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Ability to drive projects, make decisions, and prioritize work in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI or LLM-powered systems and automated agents.
• Knowledge of prompt injection, adversarial AI, AI guardrails, validation systems, and behavioral anomaly detection.
• Experience with cloud security tooling, SIEM, observability, penetration testing, endpoint security, and infrastructure-as-code security.
• Startup, FinTech, banking, or payments experience.
• CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or a similar certification.
