Product Designer, Design Systems

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or remote within the United States. In-person onboarding is required.

Annual base salary: $164,000–$294,000 USD.

What you will do

• Contribute to the strategy and decision-making for cross-product design systems.
• Define and communicate a vision for shared design patterns across multiple products.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and design teams on consistent component implementation.
• Create, iterate, and refine design system components, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Drive design system adoption and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a design systems designer.
• Ability to explore design solutions independently and collaboratively from concept through implementation.
• Experience creating simple, scalable solutions for complex user experiences across multiple products.
• Experience managing complex projects across teams and organizational boundaries.
• Proficiency building concepts in code and using production-quality concepts to communicate design decisions.

Nice to have

• Passion for inclusive, user-friendly designs for broad audiences.
• Experience mentoring junior or early-career designers.
