What you will do

• Scope and plan audits to assess internal control structures.
• Deploy audit and analytical procedures to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
• Discuss audit results with local and global management.
• Monitor and follow up on the resolution of open audit findings.
• Communicate and report on governance, risk management, and control effectiveness.
• Raise awareness of control risk and assess the firm's control culture.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience as a technology auditor, leading audits covering IT application and general controls.
• Understanding of software development and system architecture.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Experience with cloud computing (Private, AWS, Google, Azure, Docker).
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems security, configuration, and management.
• Experience with database design, setup, and administration (Sybase, Oracle, or UDB).
• Familiarity with big data systems (Hadoop, Snowflake, NoSQL).
• Ability to review code (Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA macros etc.).
• Experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant technology standards and regulations (ISO 27001, FFIEC IT handbooks, COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and FedRAMP).
• Must be based in New York, New York, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data and Log Analysis (Splunk) and visualization (Spotfire, Tableau, QlikView).
• Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CFA, FRM).
