Manager, Large Loss Property Claims PL (NY / East PA - WFH)

Location: Remote role staffed within New York or Eastern Pennsylvania

Salary: $108,000–$200,000 national range; expected starting range of $108,000–$162,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead a geographic Large Loss property claims unit and manage claims performance objectives.
• Review, adjust, reserve, investigate, and settle extensive property damage claims.
• Coordinate with quality assurance, SIU, subrogation, claims legal, service centers, vendors, and other support functions.
• Resolve customer complaints, monitor satisfaction, and implement improvement action plans.
• Lead hiring, training, development, workflow planning, performance management, and compensation administration for claims associates.
• Support catastrophe response, conduct property inspections, and participate in claims improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Eight years of related experience in Large Loss claims settlement, handling, or management.
• Strong claims knowledge, property claims experience, leadership, mentoring, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of insurance theory, contracts, property estimating, automated claims systems, coverage investigation, and settlement practices.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and required state licensing or claims certification training.
• Must safely access and inspect rooftops, including first- and second-story roofs with pitches up to 8/12.
• Must be willing to work irregular and extended hours, travel with possible overnight stays, be on call, and support catastrophe events.
