Facilities Technician (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Memphis, Tennessee campus

Building and operating large-scale AI training infrastructure and the facilities that support it.

What you will do

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, transformers, carpentry, fixtures, and building structures.
• Maintain assigned interior and exterior areas, including walls, floors, ceilings, flooring, roofing systems, doors, hardware, and building envelopes.
• Respond to electronic work tickets, complete preventive maintenance, and track issues through the site work-order system.
• Support janitorial and campus operations by moving furniture and equipment, disposing of construction waste, and setting up and dismantling event areas.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when required and follow all safety procedures.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and work extended hours, weekends, or non-standard schedules as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least 2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience or knowledge in plumbing, building HVAC, basic electrical maintenance, transformers, carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, hardware, and related building repairs.
• Ability to read instructions and basic floor plans or blueprints and follow specific procedures.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. unassisted and work at elevated heights using ladders and lifts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and with others.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction, equipment maintenance, tenant improvements, pumps, drains, lift stations, sewer machines, or roofing.
• Experience with work-order or project-tracking software and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Safety training and experience using forklifts, scissor lifts, and fall-protection equipment.
