Senior Underwriter - E&O

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, subject to geographic differentials

What you will do

• Manage, examine, and analyze broker-submitted E&O insurance risks.
• Determine appropriate limits, pricing, and policy terms to support underwriting profitability.
• Execute E&O business plans and build the company's presence in the E&O market.
• Ensure risks comply with delegated authority, underwriting standards, risk selection, peer review, and pricing methodologies.
• Provide accurate customer service on policy transactions and maintain broker relationships.
• Document underwriting activities and decisions while following internal policies, applicable regulations, and governance standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of underwriting experience.
• Underwriting experience in E&O, with an emphasis on Architects and Engineers or Contractor Professional Liability.
• Knowledge of E&O underwriting practices, coverage, and pricing or rating methodologies.
• Knowledge of the producer and competitor marketplace and insurance company operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
