Actuarial Associate - Pricing

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid/onsite

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 per year, subject to skills, experience, and applicable geographic differentials.

What you will do

• Support the development and maintenance of rating tools.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc actuarial reports and synthesize key findings.
• Support loss ratio planning, premium budgeting, and pricing for new and existing programs and product lines.
• Analyze company and industry data using fundamental actuarial principles.
• Prepare and help present actuarial analyses to business partners and senior leadership.
• Progress through CAS examinations using on-the-job and home study.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success in actuarial examinations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Holding or actively pursuing ACAS or FCAS and taking actuarial examinations.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
