Senior Java Developer (AI)

Location: On site in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX. Applicants must be authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $164,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise data integration and segmentation solutions.
• Build ETL pipelines for on-premises and cloud environments using technologies such as GoldenGate, Debezium, and Airflow.
• Develop large-scale software with Java or Python and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Work with cloud microservices, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and messaging platforms.
• Implement and enhance automated unit, acceptance, and integration testing frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor developers, and coordinate onsite and offshore teams across parallel initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing large-scale software with Java or Python and Spring/Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience building ETL data pipelines and 2+ years with Google Dataflow and Google Composer on Google Cloud Platform.
• 3+ years working with cloud containers and microservices, plus 6+ years with CI/CD.
• Experience with data modeling, PostgreSQL, Aerospike, Google Spanner, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent messaging technologies.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including validation of AI-generated code, tests, documentation, and automation.
• Must be authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship and must work on site in the specified Texas locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCF, AWS, or GCP and migration of legacy systems or ETL processes to cloud platforms.
• Financial services industry experience, Test Driven Development, and Agile experience.
• Experience with Control-M, Atlassian tools, Visio diagrams, and technical documentation.
