Senior Software Engineer (Java/Python)

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; may telecommute from any home office throughout the U.S. Worksite: 1120 Four Points Dr., Austin, TX 78726. Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Annual salary for US-based employees: $136,175–$189,626 USD. Additional bonus, commission, and equity participation may be available.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain projects using Java and Python.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and Java-based microservices with the Spring Framework.
• Work with Snowflake and PostgreSQL to optimize data storage, retrieval, and persistence.
• Develop DBT models and Airflow DAGs for data transformation, loading, and workflow management.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage data in Amazon S3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment while ensuring data security and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience, including Java RESTful microservices, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines with Maven and Jenkins.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• At least 1 year of experience with Hibernate or other ORM technologies, Redis caching, and NoSQL datastores such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Must be able to work from the United States for the remote arrangement.
