Senior Risk Specialist (Data Center Construction)

Location: Remote, with locations listed in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON, Canada; global travel required for key projects

What you will do

• Facilitate Quantitative Risk Analysis workshops with project stakeholders, reviewing cost, schedule, and risk information.
• Develop risk impact assessments with risk owners and subject matter experts, ensuring mitigation efforts are accurately costed and scheduled.
• Create comprehensive project risk registers, risk profiles, and stress-test scenarios for extreme risk events.
• Embed within project teams to establish risk management processes and integrate them with client programme and portfolio frameworks.
• Provide risk management training and process updates to colleagues.
• Support business development with new and existing clients.

Requirements

• Degree or comparable experience in a relevant discipline.
• Up to 12 years of experience in High Tech, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, or Infrastructure industries.
• Experience developing summary risk models from complex Primavera P6 schedules, including critical and near-critical float paths and relevant fragnets.
• Experience delivering risk management services, particularly Schedule Risk Analysis and facilitation.
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE, and PMI risk management guidelines.
• Availability for global travel to key projects is required.

Nice to have

• AACE PRMP, PMI-RMP, IRM, or APM certification, or progress toward one.
• Experience with Safran Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, ARM, Xactium, or RiskPredict.
• Strong analytical, strategic, leadership, detail-orientation, and quality-focused skills.
