Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

Location: Bogota, Colombia; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, supplies, and commodity products to ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate, select, monitor, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Analyze purchasing needs, costs, supplier performance, and supply requirements.
• Forecast demand and negotiate pricing, discounts, contracts, and major subcontracts.
• Lead or participate in contract negotiations and approve purchases within authorized limits.
• Coordinate purchasing activities across departments and recommend procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills, written and verbal.
• 6+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management.
• Experience leading teams, complex sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance programs.
• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering savings, value creation, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
• Strong digital and AI fluency, including Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT.
