What you will do
- Oversee import and export processes for finished goods and raw materials.
- Develop transportation strategies for timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch.
- Monitor logistics budgets, expenses, service levels, and operational performance.
- Manage relationships with customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team while ensuring safety, legal, and transportation compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- 9+ years of experience managing transportation, distribution centers, and external commerce operations.
- 3+ years of experience leading teams.
- Experience in matrix organizations and multinational companies, with expertise in external commerce, warehousing, and distribution.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and SAP Transportation Module, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and results-oriented capabilities.
