What you will do

• Design and lead a unified, scalable, maintainable development environment in AWS GovCloud.
• Plan and execute migration of separate development networks into a common environment.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code templates and automation frameworks for provisioning, deployment, and network consolidation.
• Lead systems engineering activities and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, end-users, and implementation teams.
• Implement encryption, hardened configurations, and compliance safeguards for classified environments.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, conduct architecture reviews, assess migration risks, and troubleshoot complex architectural issues.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience, including 5+ years designing cloud architectures.
• Strong AWS expertise with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, automation, scripting, cloud security, compliance, networking, TLS encryption, and VPC firewall management.
• Experience leading migrations and consolidations of multiple networks or environments, as well as leading technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, information systems, or a related technical field; a high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS GovCloud, cybersecurity or incident response operations, and multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or ECS, RMF, NIST 800-37, and NIST 800-53.
• Systems engineering, system administration, or DevOps background.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or other AWS cloud certifications.
