Manager, Program Management

Location: Federal Equipment Co, 5298 River Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America. Proof of US citizenship and an attestation of no dual citizenship are required for NOFORN access. Approximately 25% travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead the Program Management Office team, including program managers and project leads, and establish consistent processes, tools, and performance expectations.
• Oversee portfolio reviews covering cost, schedule, technical performance, risks, opportunities, budgets, manpower, and baseline management.
• Serve as a primary customer contact for program execution, business management, and risk discussions.
• Present consolidated materials for program, executive, and line-of-business reviews.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to maintain program execution and delivery.
• Lead or support proposals, change proposals, strategic planning, KPI development, and follow-on business activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Formal program management experience, typically 8–10 years, leading increasingly complex projects and programs.
• At least 5 years of experience leading program managers, project managers, or cross-functional teams.
• Experience with senior-leader briefings, customer relationships, risk management, strategic planning, budgets, forecasts, margins, cost to complete, revenue recognition, and financial risk.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, lead cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and develop program managers.
• US citizenship with no dual citizenship is required for access to NOFORN information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, such as an MBA or MS in Engineering or Program Management.
• Navy shipbuilding or equivalent defense and shipyard program experience.
• Experience with FFP, FPIF, and CPIF contracts; large-scale development programs; Control Account Management; and Earned Value Management Systems.
