Senior Frontend Developer (Angular)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; flexibility to work in-office, virtually, or in a combination of both.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and debug web applications for DC pension portals using Angular and modern web technologies.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accessible code while collaborating with designers and back-end developers.
• Shape product architecture, create project plans, and estimate project costs and timelines.
• Guide and review developers, mentor junior team members, and act as a technical expert.
• Research new technologies and propose solutions aligned with evolving business needs.
• Provide Tier III support, troubleshoot critical issues, monitor trends, and improve support processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong skills in CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, SASS, Angular, and Angular Material.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2019, T-SQL, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, Bootstrap, Visual Studio, DevOps, and Agile.
• Experience designing multi-tier Internet/Intranet applications using established design patterns.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to accommodate off-hours support and meetings when needed.
