Senior Frontend Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada, with sufficient timezone overlap with the team required. Hiring is available in countries where hirify.global has a legal entity.

Salary: CA$144,900–CA$189,175 base pay annually, plus potential benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Design and ship customer-facing frontend features from technical design through launch and post-release improvement.
• Build fast, testable React interfaces for search, catalog navigation, data lineage, and AI-assisted analysis.
• Profile and improve performance across large trees, tables, and streaming AI interfaces.
• Partner with design and product to shape user problems and improve UX, speed, and polish.
• Raise frontend engineering quality through code reviews, documentation, complex bug fixes, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building customer-facing frontend products.
• Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals with deep JavaScript ecosystem experience.
• Experience with frontend applications at scale, including bundling, linting, testing, and releases.
• Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Track record of delivering complex end-to-end features with measurable product impact.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with component libraries and design systems, including hirify.global Design System or similar.
• Experience building accessible, performant applications with virtualized lists, large trees, or data-dense interfaces.
• Experience with search, data catalog, or AI-assisted product interfaces.
• Ability to work independently on a lean, high-output, remote-first team.
