Frontend Developer Intern (React/TypeScript)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid work with two office days per week. The internship lasts 15 weeks, and candidates must be legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for its duration.

hirify.global develops search experiences, frontend libraries, and administration tools that help customers manage their hirify.global organizations.

What you will do

• Build reusable frontend libraries and tools for integrating hirify.global search experiences.
• Develop scoped features for the hirify.global administration console.
• Manage Jira tickets and contribute to client-facing projects.
• Implement, test, review, and release frontend code with guidance from experienced teammates.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers, UX specialists, and QA teammates.
• Participate in stand-ups, code reviews, and technical learning activities.

Requirements

• Currently studying Software Engineering or Computer Science in a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quebec.
• Able to work from a hirify.global office two days per week.
• Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the complete 15-week internship.
• Foundation in JavaScript and experience building web projects with frontend technologies.
• Experience with or interest in learning React, TypeScript, Angular, or another frontend framework.
• Completed an internship and able to take ownership of a project with guidance.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend testing or projects involving both frontend and backend development.
• Hackathon participation or personal projects.
• Interest in building reusable frontend foundations for other developers.
