Senior Portfolio Data Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote, with occasional business travel to Los Angeles and New York as needed

What you will do

• Own monitoring across credit risk, payments, product usage, and other portfolio metrics.
• Build executive dashboards comparing actual performance with forecasts.
• Develop forecasting and projection frameworks for card, loan, and corporate portfolio metrics.
• Prepare and present analytical materials for executives, lender negotiations, and business leaders.
• Perform root-cause analysis, remediation analysis, and portfolio covenant simulations for major risk strategy changes.
• Partner with Capital Management, Risk, Finance, Core, Accounting, Engineering, and Data Governance on reliable product tapes, loss forecasting, and provisioning projections.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with a bachelor's degree, or 4+ years with a quantitative master's degree.
• Proficiency in SQL and willingness to acquire new technical skills.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or SAS.
• Experience with Tableau, Sigma, or a similar BI tool.
• Proficiency in forecasting models, including time-series forecasting.
• Experience in credit cards, loans, or other financial services, with strong communication and presentation skills.
