Location: 1100 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, United States. Workplace: On-site, with open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; schedules may rotate.

What you will do
- Establish the property's engineering structure, including access systems, back-of-house programming, inventory systems, maintenance SOPs, and preventive maintenance plans.
- Develop engineering reports and proactive maintenance strategies focused on asset health, aesthetics, work-order completion, occupancy, and retention.
- Manage inspections, licensing, vendors, service quality, compliance, invoices, and payments.
- Own onsite engineering operations and collaborate with property teams to implement operational best practices.
- Provide input on operational and CAPEX budgets and maintain service quality within approved budgets.
- Hire, oversee, support, and train engineering team members while maintaining brand standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, communications, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in retail, food and beverage, hospitality, multifamily, or a similar customer-service-focused environment.
- At least 1 year of successful multi-department leadership experience.
- Experience with employee relations, retention, engagement, succession planning, performance management, or team development.
- Experience scheduling, training, and developing non-exempt employees; strong communication, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be at least 18 years old. Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on work involving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Retail, food and beverage, multifamily, or hospitality-focused experience.
- CPR certification; certification can be obtained within one week of the start date at company expense.
