Operations Technician/Machine Operator / Wood / 1st Shift (CNC Woodworking)

What you will do

• Program and operate CNC woodworking machinery for a range of fabrication tasks.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings, then translate specifications into machine commands.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto CNC equipment.
• Run tests, supervise full machine cycles, and adjust settings to improve results.
• Finish and assemble components as required.
• Inspect and measure finished products and perform daily machinery maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machinery and tooling, preferably in a woodworking environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Experience using precision measurement tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematics skills.
• Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM is preferred.
• A two-year associate degree and woodworking background are preferred.
