Analyst, HR Compliance & Operations

Location: Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $59,000–$89,000 annual base salary, plus an annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Execute and maintain compliance-driven HR processes, including contingent worker governance, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support audit readiness through control validation, evidence collection, workflow documentation, and participation in internal and external audits.
• Own and improve process maps, SOPs, operational controls, and data integrity across HR workflows.
• Execute Public Sector program requirements, including Public Trust status management and client-specific screening processes for federal and state agencies.
• Manage HR operational requests through Jira and monitor trends, risks, process performance, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to workflow automation and AI-enabled HR initiatives while partnering with Legal, Security, Procurement, IT, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, compliance, or a process-focused role.
• Experience documenting, owning, and improving business processes, including SOPs, workflows, and process maps.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems or service management tools such as Workday, Jira, or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of HR compliance, regulatory requirements, or audit-related processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Public Sector or regulated compliance environments, including Public Trust or FedRAMP-adjacent programs.
• Exposure to immigration or global mobility programs.
• Experience with workflow automation, process optimization, or AI-enabled operational tools.
• Familiarity with SOX/ITGC control environments or audit evidence management.
