People Lead, EMEA - 12 Month FTC

Location: London, UK; hybrid with 3 days a week in the Old Street office

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop a regional people partnering team of four.
• Partner with senior department and function leaders across EMEA.
• Deliver the EMEA people partnering strategy and prioritise support across the region.
• Own complex employee relations cases and oversee HR compliance and employment-law risk across multiple jurisdictions.
• Design and govern performance cycles, remuneration reviews, engagement initiatives and audits.
• Use people data and case trends to shape workforce planning, reward, policy and people-systems improvements.

Requirements

• Deep people partnering and HR advisory experience in a high-performance environment such as technology, a high-growth scale-up or consulting.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports in a partnering or advisory team.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance.
• Experience handling employee relations across multiple jurisdictions and advising senior stakeholders on sensitive matters.
• Ability to use people data to identify trends and develop recommendations.
• Strong programme and project management skills across the employee lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with German, South African or other international employment frameworks.
• Experience leading a people team through rapid growth or organisational change.
