Engineering Manager - Electronics Hardware

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; full-time onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation is available. The role requires 20% travel.

Salary: $159,120–$238,680 per year.

What you will do

• Lead component product platform organizations responsible for electronic component development, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage engineering managers, product line managers, and engineering professionals across organizations of approximately 10–25 people.
• Drive new product introduction, technology introduction, product quality, cost control, compliance, obsolescence management, and manufacturing audits.
• Partner with suppliers, procurement, systems, software, manufacturing, and aftermarket organizations to deliver product platform commitments.
• Manage supplier engagement, supply chain readiness, alternate-part risk mitigation, and supplier resilience.
• Develop talent through staffing, coaching, mentoring, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Direct supervisory experience in leader-of-leader roles and experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience with business plan management, budgeting, actuals tracking, and capital processes.
• Experience developing electrical or electronic components and managing supplier-developed and internally developed components.
• Experience with supplier management, new product introduction, continuous product improvement, component lifecycle management, APQP, TFC, and component testing.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, audits, controls, operational excellence, defect containment, and risk assessment and mitigation.
