Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Enterprise)

Location: Los Angeles, California; full-time onsite presence in Hawthorne five days a week, with very limited exceptions.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 per year, plus stock options.

What you will do

• Architect and implement an enterprise software platform integrating business processes from sales through manufacturing and delivery.
• Build applications tracking the end-to-end lifecycle of millions of parts across thousands of customers.
• Design scalable, resilient, high-quality, reliable, and secure systems for complex factory processes.
• Act as an engineer, product owner, and team lead by scoping features, assigning work, and delivering results.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and solve complex problems.
• Design user interfaces and maintain an accessible, integrity-focused data model for business intelligence users.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar technologies.
• Experience with backend web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Experience with frontend web frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Experience building applications that interact with SQL and non-relational databases.
• Ability to work onsite in Hawthorne five days per week.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience as a team lead, architect, product owner, or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Experience architecting complex ERP, MRP, MES, CRM, e-commerce, logistics, warehouse management, or fleet management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and requirements-gathering ability.
• Comfort with building and evolving systems in a fast-paced environment.
