Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable software systems for mission-critical operations.
• Apply machine learning models and AI-driven analytics to signal processing and network analysis.
• Optimize distributed computing, microservices, and containerized environments for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate real-time data-driven solutions into new and existing platforms with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Build and improve large-scale data pipelines, message brokering systems, and adaptive algorithms.
• Follow agile development, configuration management, and secure DevSecOps practices.

Requirements

• STEM degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Expertise in scalable and distributed systems, containerized environments, Kubernetes, Helm, Podman, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C++ or Python and Linux-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithm design, CI/CD automation, Git, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. citizenship and onsite work in Maryland are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying machine learning and AI models to network traffic, signal processing, or complex systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems, Kafka, RESTful APIs, or gRPC.
• Experience with microservices architecture, multithreading, parallel processing, asynchronous programming, embedded software, or hardware integration.
