Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; onsite at client and partner sites

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide project controls oversight, coaching, and SME-level guidance across the project lifecycle.
• Implement project management standards covering cost, schedule, scope, WBS, risks, issues, and change management.
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts, validate Estimate to Completion and Estimate at Completion forecasts, and analyze contingencies.
• Perform schedule analytics, evaluate progress and schedule quality, and monitor contractor compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct independent project assessments for compliance with the Stage Gate Process and project management standards.
• Support portfolio analysis, risk assessments, training, and project execution in office and field settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 6 years of capital project controls experience on utility new gas generation or process-industry projects valued at $300 million or more.
• Expert-level experience with scheduling software, schedule analytics, spreadsheet-based analytics, and project and construction management fundamentals.
• Ability to conduct field walkdowns and inspections on foot across moderate to rough terrain and lift 25 pounds overhead.
• Onsite work at client and partner locations is required.

Nice to have

• Direct project controls experience on utility new gas generation or CCGT projects within an EPC.
• Experience with EPC and multi-prime contract models.
• PMI or AACEi certifications.
• Experience supporting project teams at construction sites, engineering offices, or fabrication sites.
