Product Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid working from the Manchester office approximately once a fortnight; travel to the London office is expensed.

This is a full-time 9-month contract position within Digital Advisory.

What you will do

• Embed the product operating model across product teams and portfolios.
• Design, document, and improve product operations processes, standards, and ways of working.
• Create playbooks, templates, guidance, and tools that support consistency and adoption.
• Establish and facilitate governance forums, planning cadences, and decision-making practices.
• Facilitate retrospectives, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and business teams to support product-led behaviours and organisational change.

Requirements

• Experience implementing or improving product operations practices in a product-led or digitally transforming organisation.
• Strong process design, governance, and operational management skills.
• Experience developing playbooks, standards, documentation, and operating frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including experience running planning, governance, or decision-making forums.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments, bring clarity to complex challenges, and support teams in adopting consistent ways of working.
• Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
