Project Manager - New Installation/Modernization (Detroit)

Location: Livonia, Michigan, United States; projects in Detroit, MI. Some travel required, up to 10%.

What you will do

• Manage new installation and modernization projects from scope definition through completion.
• Develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate internal resources, stakeholders, Branch Project Managers, Superintendents, and the USFO Team.
• Track and report project costs, labor, performance, schedules, and business updates.
• Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes while performing risk management and escalation.
• Support safety programs, training, operational improvements, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; elevator or construction industry experience is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment, construction, and installation procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprints and safety or operating documentation.
• Ability to prepare reports and correspondence and communicate effectively with customers and groups.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Servigistic programs.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a large, busy, and sometimes stressful environment.
