Senior AI Engineer

Location: Fully and permanently remote within the U.S.; in-person interviews may be required in Austin, Texas

What you will do

• Architect and deploy autonomous AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Design strict-source-following RAG systems with citation integrity, guardrails, structured outputs, and validation layers.
• Build scalable backend services with FastAPI and orchestrate agentic workflows using LangGraph.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads in AWS or Azure while optimizing performance, reliability, and cost.
• Develop evaluation pipelines measuring accuracy, citation adherence, latency, and reliability.
• Embed privacy-by-design, data sovereignty, secure handling, and regulatory compliance across the AI stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience deploying and managing AI workloads in AWS or Azure.
• Deep understanding of LLM usage and orchestration beyond prompt engineering.
• Strong Python AI ecosystem expertise, including FastAPI and LangGraph.
• Proven experience building complex RAG systems and autonomous AI agents.
• Experience creating evaluation frameworks and iterating based on performance metrics.

Nice to have

• Knowledge Graph experience for improving RAG precision.
• Familiarity with Privacy-Enhancing Technologies and data anonymization.
• Experience in compliance-heavy or regulated environments.
