Staff PLM Analyst (Hardware)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States

Salary: $207,000–$275,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define BOM structures, templates, audit methods, governance policies, and escalation paths for the hardware organization.
• Own and improve the end-to-end ECO/ECN change management process, including Change Review Board meetings and exception handling.
• Assess the impact of product changes on BOMs, documentation, inventory, and production schedules.
• Administer the PLM platform and maintain accurate part records, classifications, metadata, document controls, revisions, and audit trails.
• Support Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams, including PLM training and SOP development.
• Coordinate PLM-to-ERP synchronization, NPI program-gate readiness, and system upgrades with ERP and IT teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in PLM analysis, product data management, or configuration management, including ownership of processes and standards.
• Strong understanding of server and data center architecture, part lifecycle management, document control, and revision management.
• Hands-on experience with Engineering Change Orders and structured change control in an engineering environment.
• Experience mentoring analysts and creating training materials or SOPs.
• Applicants must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements, such as being a U.S. person or being eligible for the required authorization.

Nice to have

• 12+ years of relevant PLM, product data management, or configuration management experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and PLM-to-ERP integration workflows.
• Experience with NPI phase-gate governance and quality management principles.
• Experience building or leading a PLM analyst team.
