Staff Modular Data Center Electrical Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Denver, Colorado, United States. Travel is anticipated at 10–20%.

Salary: $168,000–$192,000 per year plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Own the electrical design, optimization, and roadmap for hirify.global Spark, a prefabricated modular AI factory.
• Standardize and template design blocks for modular electrical systems.
• Support research and development by evaluating and testing emerging electrical technologies.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in customer meetings and translate requirements into modular design strategies.
• Partner with manufacturing, construction, R&D, customers, and the broader design engineering group on fast-track projects and scope changes.
• Support field installation and commissioning of modular assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in prefabricated building electrical design and application.
• Experience designing and iterating modular data centers, including electrical systems and compute racks.
• Experience supporting product roadmaps and driving improvements through continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of AI compute loads and power distribution from utility transformers to server racks.
• Strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and technical communication skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and perform feasibility and cost-benefit analyses.
