Senior Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and scale machine learning models and statistical algorithms for complex business problems.
• Conduct statistical analysis, validate hypotheses, perform exploratory analysis, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Operationalize models with automated feedback loops, versioning, monitoring, and other MLOps practices.
• Measure improvements in business efficiency and customer experience while identifying strategic data science opportunities.
• Mentor junior data scientists through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and best-practice documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years of professional data science experience, or a PhD in a quantitative field and 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical role.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, mathematical theory, and practical applications, with experience using scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
• Expert Python proficiency with NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn; strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehousing, particularly Snowflake.
• Strong programming skills in Java or a similar language, plus intermediate proficiency in a low-level or high-performance language.
• Expert experience with cloud computing and software development practices, including AWS and/or Azure services for storage, processing, and model deployment.
• Experience deploying and automating production machine learning models at scale, using Git, Docker, and CI/CD, and measuring business impact.
