Data Engineer-US (Snowflake)

Location: Columbia, Missouri, United States — hybrid schedule with one week in the office and one week remote

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Build data replication and transformation workflows with Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, dbt, and Astronomer.
• Develop Snowflake solutions for data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and performance optimization.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes and support data modeling and data warehousing initiatives.
• Work with AWS or Azure cloud data services and develop SQL, Python, or PowerShell automation scripts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines while implementing data quality, governance, security, and lifecycle management practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in a Senior Data Engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, dbt, and Astronomer.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, ingestion, and scalable processing.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, GitHub, SQL, and Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, security, lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule in Columbia, Missouri, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
