What you will do

• Plan, source, buy, negotiate, and receive direct materials.
• Monitor inventory targets, identify supply gaps, and resolve shortages with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, delivery performance, forecasts, and on-time delivery actions.
• Review MRP and non-MRP requirements, adjust purchasing plans, and maintain relevant MRP parameters.
• Select and manage suppliers, develop alternative sources, and support risk reduction for key products.
• Generate purchase orders in QAD ERP, support supply contracts, and coordinate technical or quality issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated industry preferred.
• Experience with QAD or a similar ERP system and with MRP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong verbal and written communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
