Buyer (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Monitor demand signals and place purchase orders for raw materials.
• Manage open purchase orders, supplier delivery performance, supplier relationships, and business reviews.
• Maintain procurement and demand data, analyze supply risks, and collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and suppliers on solutions.
• Communicate material availability with Production Planning, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Use analytics to optimize ihirify.globalory levels, stock positions, and replenishment strategies.
• Interpret Bills of Materials, execute purchase orders, coordinate returns for defective materials, and reconcile P-Card transactions in Concur.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems; Oracle experience is preferred.
• Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data-analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, perform physical activities, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
