Product Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from the London office, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

Builds custom technology solutions, applications, APIs, and AI tools for sports competitions, federations, brands, and broadcasters.

What you will do

• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to design custom solutions and make technical and feature trade-offs.
• Develop robust, low-latency solutions using AWS services and event-driven serverless architectures.
• Contribute to a shared ecosystem of services and tools, prioritizing scalability and collective code stewardship.
• Support sporting-event launches with fixed deadlines and go-live requirements.
• Use AI tools, Claude Skills, MCP, and autonomous agents to accelerate development while maintaining human oversight.
• Apply XP-influenced practices, including TDD and continuous delivery.

Requirements

• Several years of experience appropriate for a mid-level role; recent bootcamp graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the ability to learn and use additional programming languages.
• Daily experience with agentic coding workflows, including Claude Skills, Model Context Protocol, and autonomous agents.
• Experience building and scaling event-driven architectures with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and DynamoDB.
• Interest in sports and understanding of sports data and markets.
• Ability to work from the London office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Java experience.
• Sports business experience.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• SQL and NoSQL data modeling experience for high-volume, low-latency environments.
