Product Operations Lead (SaaS)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year, based on a 40-hour work week

What you will do

• Own recurring OEM billing and usage reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance and OEM partners.
• Prepare and validate monthly usage, billing, and invoicing data, and support accurate business metrics and dashboards.
• Coordinate OEM meetings, roadmap communications, status reporting, and engineering investment tracking.
• Administer customer onboarding runbooks, RACI ownership, approval workflows, exceptions, and cross-team dependencies.
• Identify process gaps, data discrepancies, and automation opportunities for Product and Engineering leadership.
• Contribute product requirements and user stories, partnering with Product Management and Engineering on backlog development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, business analysis, program coordination, or product operations, ideally in B2B SaaS.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent cross-functional workstreams.
• Ability to interpret usage reports, reconcile spreadsheets, and collaborate with Engineering and Finance on data quality.
• Experience creating or maintaining runbooks, SOPs, RACI matrices, or similar process documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently while improving documented processes.

Nice to have

• Scripting or SQL experience.
• Experience with billing, invoicing, usage reconciliation, OEM partnership models, or enterprise software billing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, Jira, Confluence, LinearB, Excel, or Power BI.
• Basic familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, user stories, and backlog grooming.
• PMP or a similar certification.
