What you will do
- Build an AI-enabled platform for document digitization and search.
- Develop a low-latency distributed search system serving agentic systems and tools.
- Conceptualize, experiment with, and evaluate AI-based software systems.
- Write, test, maintain, and deploy scalable production-ready services in a cloud-native environment.
- Contribute to Generative AI initiatives, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines and knowledge graphs.
- Lead cross-team engineering projects and improve developer productivity with Generative AI.
Requirements
- Backend Java development experience with multithreaded, concurrent, scalable, and distributed applications.
- Experience building microservices and distributed applications.
- Knowledge of Python for NLP and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of search engine principles and Lucene.
- Experience with or knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, gRPC, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of vector databases is a plus.
