WPM Sort Module Process Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Sustain and improve automated wafer test platforms, processes, equipment health, quality, reliability, and manufacturing performance.
• Investigate and debug electrical, process, mechanical, optical, and software failures across semiconductor test platforms.
• Mine and analyze test-result and tool-log data to detect performance issues and discrepant equipment.
• Contain and disposition production material affected by test-platform failures.
• Develop scripts, procedures, debug methods, and processes to optimize test activities in collaboration with international hirify.global sites.
• Support new-product readiness, new test methods, equipment upgrades, test marginality debugging, spares management, and technician development.

Requirements

• Honors degree at NFQ Level 8 or equivalent in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related STEM field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Practical scripting or programming experience in Python, C#, SQL, or a similar language.
• Experience with debugging and problem-solving under time constraints, plus moderate statistical knowledge.
• Ability to solve problems independently, plan and prioritize projects, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and collaborate across software, hardware, and process teams.
• Understanding of microelectronics, semiconductor physics, wafer testing, sort systems, or supply chain operations is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with pivot tables, SQL, Power BI, or JMP.
• Understanding of AI and willingness to implement AI in sort processes.
