Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland; hybrid work arrangement
Salary: β¬81,120ββ¬121,680 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan.

What you will do
- Design manufacturing processes, production layouts, operating sequences, and procedures for equipment, tooling, machining, assemblies, and material handling.
- Adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production conditions while incorporating inspection and test requirements.
- Manage third-party machine builders and manufacturing equipment suppliers from quotation through factory and site acceptance testing.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools; investigate deficiencies; and initiate corrective actions to protect product quality.
- Develop processes suitable for statistical process control and guide engineering teams on design concepts and manufacturing specifications.
- Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a masterβs degree with at least 5 years, or a PhD with at least 3 years.
- Mastery of a relevant technical specialty and comprehensive knowledge of industry practices.
- Ability to work autonomously with ambiguity and identify solutions through detailed investigation and analysis.
- Experience succeeding in a fast-paced, dynamic new product development environment.
- Ability to represent projects, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors, and influence decisions.
- Experience mentoring colleagues and managing major or moderately complex projects.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing manufacturing software releases, test automation, and software design transfer.
- Knowledge of low-volume, high-complexity capital equipment production.
- Experience with motors, sensors, and electromechanical assemblies.
- DMAIC and Lean Manufacturing experience, including Black Belt certification.
