Senior Corporate Counsel

Location: Singapore; hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation support is offered.

What you will do

• Provide practical legal and business guidance to APAC market business units, channels, partnerships, and hirify.global Branded Channels.
• Advise People, Partner & Culture teams on employment matters, employee relations, investigations, and strategic people initiatives.
• Draft, review, and lead negotiations on commercial agreements supporting regional growth.
• Support new market entry, business expansion, and transformation projects.
• Mentor junior legal colleagues and contribute to legal training, knowledge management, and simpler ways of working.
• Support the Legal Director and VP/General Counsel for China & APAC on regional legal initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore or another recognized common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in both a law firm and an in-house multinational corporate environment.
• Experience advising on commercial contracts, employment law, competition law, regulatory matters, and corporate governance.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to provide practical, business-focused advice in complex, fast-moving environments.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage a broad range of legal matters independently while balancing legal risk and commercial objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer goods, retail, licensing, or franchise-related businesses.
• Familiarity with APAC markets and cross-functional collaboration.
• Additional regional languages.
