Senior Legal Counsel, Product Legal, Yield

Location: Singapore or Dubai; the role is based in Singapore

What you will do

• Act as lead legal counsel and strategic business partner for the Yield product.
• Advise Product stakeholders across ideation, product design, licensing, regulatory engagement, launch, market expansion, and product integration.
• Coordinate with local counsel across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the U.S., the U.K., and the European Union.
• Translate legal and regulatory advice into product requirements, customer terms, disclosures, and launch-readiness materials.
• Develop scalable legal frameworks, playbooks, and processes for repeatable product launches across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Licensing, Risk, Marketing, Operations, and regulated partners such as banks, broker-dealers, custodians, and investment managers.

Requirements

• Law degree from a renowned university and 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Regulatory advisory or product counseling experience at a reputable law firm, financial institution, or fintech.
• At least three years of experience advising on wealth-management products.
• Experience managing complex, cross-jurisdictional legal workstreams from product ideation through launch and expansion.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills across Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Marketing, external counsel, and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• In-house experience in fintech, financial services, wealth management, asset management, securities, brokerage, or another regulated financial-services environment.
• Experience with investment products, investment management, broker-dealer arrangements, custodial relationships, or related customer disclosures.
• Knowledge of securities, investment-adviser, investor-protection, fiduciary, or suitability frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience building legal playbooks, product-governance processes, and launch checklists.
