Sr Associate Counsel – Products and Solutions (Payments)

Location: Singapore; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Advise hirify.global’s products and solutions business on commercial, technology, regulatory and strategic partnership matters.
• Design, structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial, technology and partnership agreements.
• Provide regulatory advice for payment products, services and business initiatives across Asia Pacific.
• Advise product and business teams on commercial structures, legal risks and practical mitigation strategies.
• Support initiatives involving wallet partnerships, tokenization, agentic commerce, AI, digital assets and emerging payment solutions.
• Collaborate with legal and business stakeholders across Asia Pacific and other regions, including the United States, while managing multiple priorities and international travel.

Requirements

• Six to eight years of post-qualification experience in payments and/or technology-related transactions, gained at a top-tier law firm or multinational corporation.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property matters, particularly technology-related and marketing contracts.
• Law degree from a reputable law school and admission to practise law in a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Working knowledge of financial, digital and payment services laws and regulations across multiple Asian jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial and technology transactions, including international and regional agreements.
• Ability to live and work in Singapore, with strong legal drafting, analytical, communication and commercial judgment skills.
