What you will do

• Lead the strategy for optimizing $650 million in indirect spend across sales and marketing, HR, IT, communications, travel, uniforms, and other categories.
• Develop purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices for indirect spend management.
• Drive process control, automation, innovation, spend aggregation, supplier consolidation, demand reduction, and supply chain optimization.
• Build relationships with business-unit and functional vice presidents to align procurement objectives and priorities.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including contract negotiations and category management.
• Coach associates and conduct financial planning and analysis to identify value-improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree strongly preferred.
• 15 years of demonstrated success leading automation in financial, technology, and/or purchasing processes across diverse businesses and cultures.
• Experience building relationships with senior leaders and connecting business needs with technological innovation.
• Ability to lead people, projects, and process changes.
• Knowledge of sourcing, category management, contractual terms, financial analysis, business process analysis, and supplier management.
• Fluent written, spoken, and read English and physical location in the United States are required.
